Staff Lindy is a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT NC #1745), Esthetician (Skin Specialist NC #E84), Certified Fitness Trainer, Touch for Health Practitioner (Specialized Kinesiology), Reiki Master and Aromatherapy Enthusiast! She has been working with people, in these health related fields, for over 25 years, helping them to get "back to the basics" of healthy lifestyle choices to achieve their highest potential and slow down the aging process. That is why she focuses on using treatments and products that are holistic and botanical, avoiding chemical and synthetic ingredients that may be connected to many health-related challenges. Specializing in the "Art of Aromatherapy" in her practice for over 20 years, she uses only the highest quality. therapeutic grade, essential oils. "If you want results, you must insist upon therapeutic grade essential oils, at E'Scentials we do." Her workshops and talks on Aromatherapy convey her passion and expertise in this complimentary modality that powerfully blends the balancing of the mind, body, spirit connection. A Certified Clinical Aromaer studies with Dr. Jane Buckle. Currently she is studying with Linda L. Smith, RN,MS,HNC,CHIP,CHTI, founder of the Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Program, to become a Nationally Registered Aromatherapist.
Jan brings 33 years of corporate experience to E'Scentials. After retiring from "the rat race" to enjoy more time with family, friends and her pet, Bella, she decided to join our staff. Her natural interests in the fields of holistic health and wellness, beauty, aromatherapy and aging gracefully, combined with her warm personal relations skills are tremendous assets to our clients. Jan also specializes in the IonCleanse Foot soaks, ear candling and keeping things running smoothly!
Bethany Brown
Kara is a graduate of The Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, NC. There she had training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Sports Massage. Kara has also had additional training in Deep Tissue Massage techniques at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Weaverville, NC. She has many interests and is continuing her education in Hot Stone Therapy, Hot Poultice Herbal Therapy Massage, Babassu Sugar Body Rub and Aromatherapy...using essential oils to enhance these various modalities. In the future, she would like to pursue her interest in Natural Health and become an herbalist. Kara believes communication with her clients is the key to doing her best work. Massage is an art to her, and she pours her heart into her work with each client to meet their specific needs.
Susan Marotti
Kelly Jo is a gifted clairvoyant, medium, pet psychic, medical intuitive and licensed LMBT. She has been doing readings professionally for over 27 years and been on several TV and national radio programs. Kelly Jo has worked with numerous police agencies around the country, solving murder and missing person cases. She is available for readings nationally and locally. Recently, Kelly Jo relocated to North Carolina and is in the process of getting her massage license reinstated here. It was hard for Kelly Jo to leave Florida and her faithful massage clientele of over 15 years, however we are thrilled to have her with us at E’Scentials.
Leslie is a licensed Cosmetologist and earned a Certificate Diploma as an Esthetician. Though she enjoyed her work as a hair stylist, her real passion lies in skincare and helping people look and feel their best. She specializes in problematic, acneic skin, microdermabrasion and setting her clients up on a holistic skincare program to help them achieve their goals for healthy, glowing skin. Leslie believes strongly in achieving her best, encouraging others to do the same and having a solid faith in the Lord. A health and fitness advocate, she has lived in the Raleigh area for 17 years. On most days she is busy with her two great children, her husband of 15 years and of course their three rascally Bichon Frises!
Jamie Tuohy is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 25 years experience in health care. She has advanced level training in Craniosacral Therapy and is a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute. She has studied directly with John Upledger, D.O., developer of Craniosacral Therapy and has given workshops to health care professionals. Jamie has taken numerous courses in Myofascial Release with John Barnes, P.T., and completed a clinical internship at the Myofascial Release Treatment Center in Sedona, AZ. She is certified in Manual Lymph Drainage and treatment of lymphedema. She has also studied therapeutic yoga, Swedish massage, visceral manipulation, somatoemotional release and guided imagery. She combines her skills in rehabilitation and complementary modalities to provide individualized care. She is able to address a wide range of healthcare concerns, including chronic pain, stress-related ailments and fibromyalgia. Jamie feels it is a privilege to assist in the healing process of others with these effective and powerful techniques. HoursOur center's hours are Tuesday - Saturday, by appointment only

Bethany Brown is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Swedish Massage Therapy, Inc. in Charlotte, N.C. in November of 2002. Having been a gymnast for ten years she discovered that massage therapy not only relaxes muscle but that it also aids in rehabilitation, pain ease and management. Diagnosed at sixteen with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy she became all too aware of the detrimental effects of chronic pain. Massage therapy proved to help more than anything else leading her to choose that field in hopes of being able to help others. After leaving school she apprenticed under a Trigger Point therapist, specializing in treating conditions such as TMJD, chronic back pain, headaches, neck discomfort, tennis elbow and
many others.
Susan has been studying eastern healthcare traditions for 15 years, and has been practicing massage
therapy since 2003. She loves assisting her clients in gaining a deeper understanding of who they are and how to achieve optimal levels of health. Through a deeper understanding of the simple truth…that we are comprised of the elements, we can “take control” of our own health and work with our strengths and imbalances so that we can live fully and freely. Susan draws on her years of experience with Ayurveda, the world’s oldest known healthcare system to assess and treat her clients. The foundation for this practice is love and compassion, and a desire to benefit as many sentient beings as possible.
